Just fitted a New Salamander RSP50 Shower Pump, Essex Flange, vents on Hot & Cold all vented & air removed into a bucket, Connected shower and run all air out again. Powered up electrically as it says in short bursts then left ... Turn off the water supply and loosen the handle with an Allen wrench. Take out the handle, and remove the faucet stem and the washer. Examine the washer to see whether it is old and worn out. If so, replace it with a new valve and reassemble the faucet. Turn on the water supply and check the flow of the faucet.no i'm not saying it is but your fault can be 2 things depending or where you isolate it from. just the on/off on shower or from the pullcord. water running constant when just isolated at the on/off switch can be a fault on the solenoid or on/off switch or pcb. isolated at the main pullcord will indicate a faulty solenoid only.Based on my past repairs, these are the most common culprits behind a shower valve that won‘t completely shut off the water flow: 1.
