Have been on Google Fi for my last 3 pixel phones over 5-6 years, currently on pixel 6 and the coverage is ok. I'm in San Francisco and even at home the coverage will occasionally drop. Two nights ago I was in downtown San Jose (Santana Row, large outdoor mall setup) and had zero service. Unfortunately this is fairly common.
